Managing off-site medical offices
Euromed Group medical offices are open in three of Saint Petersburg’s hotels 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Over the two years that we worked there, 8 lives were saved on the VINCI Construction Grands Projets (“Raduga” shopping center) construction site
Russian legislation states that large factories and build sites must have medical centers somewhere on their territories. Furthermore, in the years 2005-2006 there was a large increase in foreign investments in Saint Petersburg’s markets. The number of foreign specialists working in Russia rose significantly as well. This posed a problem, as most Russian doctors would have had difficulties treating foreign patients; they could not speak English, and did not interact with foreign insurance companies. This is why large businesses felt the need for Euromed’s field medical centers, which could provide quality medical services to the employees of Euromed Occupational Medicine’s clients on the spot.
After its pilot projects, Euromed Occupational Medicine began developing as a separate line of business. For example, in 2008, Euromed Occupational Medicine centers opened in St. Petersburg’s largest hotels — “Astoria” / “Angleterre”, “Rezidor Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya”, “Park Inn Pulkovskaya”.
